These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you and Archer Labs ("Job Tracer," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of jobtracer.app and all related services, features, and content (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account, clicking "Create My Account," or otherwise accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Job Tracer. If you are between 13 and 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
Job Tracer is a personal job search management platform that allows users to track job applications, manage professional contacts, store and version resume and cover letter documents, and interact with Archer — an AI-powered job search companion built on Claude by Anthropic.
The Service is provided "as-is" and is subject to change. We may add, modify, or remove features at any time without prior notice, though we will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
Job Tracer is a personal productivity tool. It is not a job placement agency, staffing firm, career coaching service, or employment service. No use of the Service creates any employment relationship between you and Job Tracer.
To access most features, you must register for an account by providing a valid email address, your name, and a password. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep it up to date.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at arj325@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to keep your credentials secure.
Each account is for a single individual's personal use only. You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of other people without their explicit consent.
We reserve the right to refuse registration or cancel accounts at our discretion, particularly in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.
You agree to use Job Tracer only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

Archer is an AI-powered job search companion integrated into Job Tracer. Archer is powered by Claude, developed by Anthropic, PBC. Archer can help you draft cover letters, assess your resume fit for a role, track your search strategy, and provide general job search guidance based on the information you share.
Archer is not a licensed career counselor, employment attorney, financial advisor, or mental health professional. Archer's responses are AI-generated suggestions based on patterns in data — they do not constitute professional advice of any kind. You should not rely solely on Archer for important career decisions.
Job Tracer makes no guarantee that using Archer or any feature of the Service will result in job interviews, offers, or employment. Career outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.
AI-generated content may sometimes be inaccurate, outdated, or inappropriate for your specific situation. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any content generated by Archer before using it in a real job application or professional context.
By using Archer, you acknowledge that your conversation content is processed by Anthropic's API. Anthropic's use of this data is governed by Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
Job Tracer currently offers a free tier. Paid subscriptions are planned and will be activated in a future update. This section will govern billing when paid plans go live.
Job Tracer offers the following subscription tiers:
Features included in each tier are described on our Pricing page and are subject to change with reasonable notice.
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. By subscribing, you authorize Job Tracer to charge your payment method on file at the applicable rate at the start of each billing period.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price increase via email and/or a notice within the app. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing.
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By providing payment information, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. Job Tracer does not store your full credit card number.
If a payment fails, we will attempt to notify you via email. If the payment is not resolved within 7 days, your account may be downgraded to the Free tier until payment is successfully processed.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings page within your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until then.
We offer refunds in the following circumstances:
Refunds are generally not issued for partial months after the 7-day window, plan downgrades, or cancellations with remaining time on a billing period. Annual plan refunds after 7 days are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Email arj325@gmail.com with your account email and reason for the refund request. We aim to process all refund requests within 5 business days.
The Job Tracer name, logo, branding, website design, application code, Archer character, and all content we create are owned by Job Tracer and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of our intellectual property without our express written consent.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial job search purposes.
You retain ownership of all content you create and store within Job Tracer — your job application notes, resume text, cover letters, contact information, and Archer conversations ("Your Content").
By using the Service, you grant Job Tracer a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of Your Content and will not use it for any purpose beyond operating and improving the Service.
You represent and warrant that Your Content does not violate any third party's rights and does not violate any applicable law.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

Job Tracer is not responsible for any decisions you make based on information provided by the Service or Archer AI, including career decisions, resume changes, or job application choices.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, JOB TRACER AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO JOB TRACER IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $50 USD.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Job Tracer and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) Your Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at arj325@gmail.com or by deleting your account from the Settings page. Termination does not entitle you to a refund except as described in Section 7.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or abusive behavior, or if required by law. In cases of material violation, termination may be immediate and without refund.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Because data is currently stored locally on your device, you retain access to any locally stored data. When cloud storage is implemented, we will provide a data export option before account deletion is finalized.
Sections 8 (Intellectual Property), 10 (Disclaimer), 11 (Limitation of Liability), 12 (Indemnification), and 14 (Governing Law) survive termination.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Before filing any formal legal claim, you agree to contact us at arj325@gmail.com and give us 30 days to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Most concerns can be resolved quickly this way.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, you and Job Tracer agree to resolve it through binding individual arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), rather than in court. You waive the right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
Note: Some jurisdictions do not allow mandatory arbitration clauses. If you are located in a jurisdiction where this clause is unenforceable, disputes will be resolved in the courts of New Castle County, Delaware.
Either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in court for disputes involving intellectual property infringement or unauthorized access to the Service.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and notify you via email where reasonably practicable.
Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.
